Soria’s wife to undergo psychiatric studies

As of today, Susana Freydoz charged with murder of her husband and ex governor of Río Negro, Carlos Soria, will undergo a series of interviews with Supreme Court of Justice psychiatric expert Ricardo Rizzo, as part of the investigation.
So far, Freydoz is the only charged with the murder of Soria who was shot dead during the night of January 1..
Rizzo’s intention is to determine whether Freydoz’s mental faculties were altered or not by the time of the shooting that ended with the death of the former governor on the morning of January 1.
Thus, the psychiatric studies will define Freydoz’s personality in an attempt to rebuild her possible reactions to the argument the couple was holding after 3:00 am the day of the incident. It was revealed that the couple was arguing after spending a long day with family and friends, which included alcohol intake. Likewise, Freydoz was under the influence of psychotropic medication that she usually takes.
Anyway, experts remarked that a single interview is not sufficient to arrive to any final conclusion. Thus, Rizzo is expected to stay several days in Río Negro in order to hold a series of interviews with the widow.
According to judicial sources said, several witnesses indicated that even though the New Year’s Eve dinner at the small farm the Sorias own in Paso Córdoba town, was “normal”, there was some “tension” between Freydoz and her husband. However, there were no discussions during or after dinner.
Freydoz’s crisis would have started around 3:30 am, when Soria was cooling off in the swimming-pool. Then, the couple got into the room, and the woman went out to come back a few minutes later when the dramatic final scene took place.
